Erik French BA JD • Executive Director
Erik brings extensive experience in human services, non-profit management, and legal practice to Granada House. Having practiced law in Connecticut and Massachusetts, he most recently served at a residential program for persons with developmental disabilities, where he dedicated years to advancing quality care and professionalism.
Since 2003, Erik has demonstrated unwavering commitment to upholding client rights and dignity while fostering meaningful service coordination and support. He brings special passion to the substance use disorder field, with a deeply held belief that long-term recovery is both life-saving and attainable for every client.
Erik holds a B.A. in Philosophy and B.A. in English Literature from the University of Maine Orono, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He is admitted to practice law in both Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Sophie Cyker LICSW • Alcott House Clinical Director
A Boston native, Sophie comes from a diverse professional background of human service settings in New England and New York, including legal settings, school-based services, adult community and residential mental health treatment, and substance use services. Prior to joining Granada House, she managed a state opioid response grant team located within an outpatient MOUD clinic in Boston, crossing paths frequently with the entire spectrum of addiction treatment in Massachusetts. Her social work practice is intersectional, systems-oriented, and trauma-responsive, with a focus on modalities that improve clients' tools for functioning and thriving in the here and now as well as in the future. She also brings over a decade of personal experience navigating addiction and recovery in Boston, from emergency harm reduction care to sustained long-term recovery.
Sophie holds a BA in sociology and education with a concentration in human development from Colby College and a MS in social work from Columbia University. She holds additional specialized training in trauma-focused CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and couples/family work. Sophie is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts and is credentialed to provide supervision towards all levels and types of behavioral health licensure. She is also a certified recovery coach supervisor through the commonwealth's Bureau of Substance Abuse Services.

Mary Kate Jurek • Alcott House Program Director
Mary-Kate comes to the Granada House with a wealth of management as well as life experience. Mary-Kate has always felt passionate about taking care of others, and spreading the knowledge of self-care.
Mary-Kate believes in a holistic approach towards helping clients achieve long-term sobriety, and is thrilled to continue on her path in working in recovery with the Granada team.

Joe Kelleher LADC I • Granada House Clinical Director
Joe brings nearly 30 years of dedicated experience in substance abuse treatment to Granada House. His journey began at Hope House in Boston as Business Manager, where he later returned as Clinical Director, guiding the organization through its transition to a new facility in lower Roxbury. He has also served as Program Director at Sullivan House and held leadership roles at the Gavin Foundation.
Since 2011, Joe has shared his expertise as an instructor in the Alcohol Counselor Education Program at UMass Boston. His commitment to the field extends beyond direct service—he currently serves as president of the Massachusetts Association of Alcohol and Drug Counselors and treasurer for the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery.
A Brighton native and long-term member of Allston-Brighton PAUSES, Joe considers joining Granada House a meaningful homecoming to serve his community.

Ky Richards • Granada House Program Director
Ky has a passion for helping others through an objective and direct approach. Ky believes that having a stable living environment is vital to early sobriety. He helps create a welcoming environment here at Granada House through open and clear dialogue and making sure each resident feels seen & welcomed.
